OSAKA University MEXT Engineering Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the OSAKA University MEXT Engineering Scholarships 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be classed as an international-fees paying student.
- Applicants must have obtained relevant qualifications for enrollment into a postgraduate program at Osaka University.
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
- Applicants must be interested in the fields of Robotics and Bioengineering.
- Must possess English language proficiency.
- Be willing to contribute to mutual understanding between Japan and his/her home country by participating in activities at schools and communities with the aim of contributing to the internationalization of Japan.
Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the OSAKA University MEXT Engineering Scholarships are to fill and complete the application documents and submit same by email to [email protected].
The subject of the email should be as follows and the name of the applicant should be written the same way that it appears in the passport:
For those applying for the master’s course : MEXT_Robotics_MC_name.

It is essential that all the application documents should be carefully completed in English, typed/printed or written in block letters (i.e. they must be written legibly in printed letters, sans-serif fonts, and not in cursive, so that it can be easily read.) on A4- or US letter-sized white paper.
